Variety packs of horse-friendly herbs for a fun, enriching experience for your best friend! These are herbs that our horses enjoy to sniff and taste. The included amount of each herb is enough for several buckets of water, depending on your bucket size and your horse’s preferred “brew strength”!
You can use them to create a “tea bar”, or simply provide one bucket at a time with one herb. If you choose to mix the herbs in hot water first, be sure to allow the water to cool or mix in cool water before allowing your horse to sample it. Always provide fresh, clean, plain water as well. You may also choose to offer the herbs dry, but adding to water ensures they do not blow away while also extending the fun!
Herbs can have powerful effects, so you should always research the herbs you intend to feed in large portions or over a long period of time. We’ve selected herbs for their horse-friendly nature, but these quantities are not intended to be fed as supplements or for any of their health benefits. You should always consult your veterinarian if you are unsure if an herb is safe for your horse, especially if your horse is pregnant or has other health concerns.
